and I got splashed by a car

The weather today was horrible. We needed to be in earlier than usual, and I didn't realised it was raining quite heavily outside. I wore my suede shoes- which obviously not waterproof, went out and wal-lah, it was dark and rainy. I don't usually bring umbrella as the wind is usually quite strong hence will blown me and my umbrella away. I braved the weather, wearing my off-white tweed jacket which I just sent to the dry-cleaners last 3 weeks and got stained with hot chocolate last friday. There I was, minding my own business when this car drove past me, quite fast and splashed water on me. Definitely NOT a good start.

Went in the bus stop hoping that I won't get anymore rain water on me - and how wrong I was. Even inside the closed bus stop, these cars managed to splashed more water on us pedestrians. Sabar je lah. Got to Keighley, which weather is often worse than Leeds, braved a stronger wind, and managed to get to GP half an hour late, and half-soaked. My feet was soaked through though, so I took of my shoes and socks and walk barefooted around the room. Nasib lah. I prolly will get athlete's foot if I didn't do so, and I know I don't have smelly feet (I asked Fiona just to make sure).

The day went considerably better then, went for pizza during lunch - when the weather was all sunny and bright, then had another teaching. But the weather turned all gloomy and horrible again on our way back, although it wasn't raining as heavily.

How I wish I had a car!
